There are so many differences it's hard to answer. In addition to the public school district, Warrenville has a small Montessori school (Carmel on 59), a Waldorf school (Four Winds near Butterfield/Rt59) and a Catholic school (St. Irene's). Generally, the obvious difference you'll see in the private schools is smaller class sizes and a greater opportunity for parent involvement. Beyond that, each school is so different in their approaches. Make a wish list of what you'd like for your child's education and then find out about each of your options by looking at their websites and attending their open houses and festivals. Ask a lot of questions and you'll find the right fit for your family!

Four Winds Waldorf School teaches children to learn and apply the facts to the real life. This method is very challenging to our kids as they learn how to think independently.
