I didn't really look at the private schools as the public schools in Palatine are excellent. Marion Jordan and Pleasant HIll Elementary in particular are excellent. We chose our home to be in the Pleasant Hill area. Parent involvement is exceptional, they do a terrific job of accommodating different levels within a grade. I'd prefer smaller class sizes but I don't feel as though it's a real problem. Yes, Quest Academy also looks to be outstanding but it's extremely expensive.

Most are very good; there have been "Blue Ribbon Awards" given to various public, Catholic, and Lutheran schools in the community. There is also a very good non-denominational gifted school (Quest Academy) in Palatine, that draws students from across the Chicagoland area.
I would encourage anyone interested in moving to Palatine to visit the schools in person, and make a decision accordingly.
