Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School is great. It has lots of activities before school as well as after for all children. They have Power Hour every day after school for an hour for homework help. They provide busses for all activities before and after school. They have a wonderful drama club, band, sports, math, science clubs writing clubs..lots of things. It's District 123 Check it out.
Then there is Simmons middle school in Ridgeland District 122. They have sports, band and other activities. The children seem a bit ruder there for some reason..but other than that it has some good qualities.
