Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Pocatello? What makes it great?"

I have heard good things about Holy spirit, Pocatello Charter, Pocatello Montessori, The Roosevelt Academy, Calvary Christian and Gate City. We went to Grace Lutheran and it was a good school, they have slipped a little with their Kindergarten program but the first grade teachers Lyseth and Cummings are wonderful! I do not have any first hand experience with the upper grades but friends have had positive things to say about their experience. Gate City is a public school and I think they ranked 16th or 17th on the ISAT this year which is great. I have friends attending this school and they only have great things to say about it. I have heard (do not know if it is true or not) that not all these schools have licensed teachers for all grades so you may want to ask when checking them out. This really is not much info but I hope it helps in your search.
