Sienna, located in Tuscany subdivision is a great school. It is K-8, but it is so new that it only goes through 7th so far. I love how caring the staff is for all the students. I love the 5th grade program they are running called "We the People". They learned about the American Revolution and The Constitution. I think all 5th graders nationwide would benefit from this program. Any school is only as good as your child's teacher and my daughter has a great one. Not all of the teachers are as good, but being a new school, seems to help get better teachers across the board.
My children go to Peregrine Elementary and at this point I am somewhat satisfied with the school. I also beleive that to make any school great really takes work from the Principal, teachers and district. The pricipal must be firm, yet loving and NEVER demean the children. The teachers need to be the same way. The school itself is not rated as the best in the district, however, I have volunteered at the school for many things and I do see that all of the staff do really try to treat all the children with respect and set good examples. The example that they set is the example that our children will remember. This is very important to me.
