Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Summerville? What makes it great?"

If you mean Summerville, GA... I know Leroy Massey did not make AYP and that it was NOT because of a large number of disabled children. i know Menlo Elementary did make AYP and probably does every year. Menlo is also the only elementary school in the county whose teachers actually completed the latest math training program. The rest walked out without completing the training and therefore caused huge problems because they still had to follow the program. We moved our son out of the county and are looking for a permanent residence in a different district. Chattooga has gone WAY down hill lately. Maybe you were talking about Summerville, SC? I recommend taking Ella to a different county.
