There are some affordable private school options nearby. At The Wood Acres School, there are several children from Smyrna and West Cobb who attend. It's a great school that offers early childhood options all the way through 7th grade. My children attended Wood Acres and loved every minute they were there!

In Smyrna the public schools are really pathetic. As a parent I am extremely concerned about the poor quality of teaching and the ability to motivate young minds. Most of the teachers seems to go through a set of procedures and protocols and not at all concrened that they are WASTING young, restless, remarkably curious and moldable minds. I am trying to send my kid to a private school, which is prohibitively expensive.
