We moved here this year and thought that the research my husband did on schools here would be true for our children. So far New Manchester Elem, seems to be ok. If you are picking up your child you don't have to get out of your car, just drive on the side of the school and give your child's name. The staff will call them out for you. I needed this when I had my 3 younger children out of school and I had to pic up another sibling. I wouldn't have to get out in bad weather and drag all of them inside.
Chapel hill High was ok except one of the teachers had poor communication skills, even after emails to address and in person visits to the school. Everyone isn't going to be that student who can teach the class, this needs to stop! If that were true then we wouldn't need teachers. Some of the teachers were teachers, I mean good teachers. All weren't bad.
