As a realtor I get this question all the time and I agree with the answer from McMahon- However, I do get many specific requests for the South Forsyth schools in area code 30041. My daughters attended Daves Creek Elem and are now at South Forsyth Middle and have been very happy and challenged. One of them is in Horizons and the other is not, and I feel they are both getting an excellent education. According to the school CRCT test score comparisons of Elementary Schools on this website it looks like Daves Creek currently has the highest rating for elementary, and for middle schools it looks like Riverwatch is in the lead. For the high schools I would say South Forsyth is winning in some categories while West Forsyth is winning in others. A new high school is opening soon in South Forsyth, Lambert, which will be close to Riverwatch Middle Sch and Sharon Elem. You wont find any stats on this school for a few years since it is new, but I am certain it will be a quality high school that will compete heavily with South Forsyth High School. I could list the communities that will be served by Lambert, but that could always change as this part of the county is constantly growing and being redistricted. I hope this helps.
The Forsyth County School District, as a whole, is and has been one of the best School Districts in the State of Georgia for years, and is part of the reason I moved to Forsyth County. Only one school has, since I lived in Forsyth County, failed to meet the standards, but that was only one year and has not missed again since. I hope that helps with your question.
