My answer to this question is quite simple, what is good and what is not, all depends upon what we, as parents, put into the education of our children, it takes a team (teachers and parents) to educate our children. MY eldest daughter is in the top 3% of the class of 2009 at North Forsyth High School, and I have stressed upon her the importance of studying and getting good grades and that if she fails to achieve in school, she will have no life outside of school. I have a step-son who is in 10th Grade in the same school, and is not doing as well, and me and his mother are on him about those grades, and are willing to impose sanctions on him if they continue. The same standards will be held for my two youngest daughters when they reach Middle and High School. Our children are far behind the children in other 1st world nations, and if we don't work with our educators we will end up with a third world education system.,
