The class setting in a private school is smaller, which gives the teacher the ability to work with each student on their weaknesses. Also, in a private school, the environment is more controlled making students have no other choice but to work, work, work.

Public schools provide a better social environment. Children work more in groups and have more extracurricular activities to participate in.

I think children need exposure to both.
