Check out Clarkdale Elementary. My son has attended since kindergarten and is going into the 5th grade this year. To the locals Clarkdale is called the best kept secret in Cobb County. Probably because the size of the school, the student to teacher ratio and that the admin staff has not changed in the last decade or so. Most of the teachers there have been there a good long while as well. Their music program is just awesome, considering this is an elementary school. Also, I've been told that they have a teacher mentoring program there - but check on that one. We love it there!
