Hillsborough Baptist School is a great school all around. Regarding public middle schools in Seffner however please know that Burnett Middle School is NOT a great Middle school in Seffner for kids with learning disabilities. If you have a child w/ learning disabilties or you have a child you suspect has learning disabilties, from my experience you need to ADVOCATE and when this isn't fully effective you need to HIRE AN ATTORNEY. This school does not have your struggling child's best intention, it is about dollars, but by hiring an attorney and getting an independent evaluation for our son we found that five years of advocating paid off. Our son who deterioriated during the process and passed w/ reasonably good grades but wasn't learning much, who cried through hours of homework which he couldn't do, who was cornered by middle school teachers and harrassed for his ADHD, is now THRIVING and LEARNING, his self esteem is improving, he is making friends and no longer crying during homework.
