I'm not sure how to answer your question. Are you asking about districts, or zones?
Panama City's schools are covered by the Bay County school district, which includes six high schools, eight middle schools, and twenty-two elementary schools. These schools are grouped into "families" (elementary and middle schools feeding the high schools), but there is also school choice within the district. You can find out more about Bay County Schools by checking their website www.bayschools.com.
The District with the best reputation near Panama City is Okaloosa/Walton's school district a little west of here. But the Zone within Bay County that has the most respect seems to be the Mosley High School family zone. Mosley High and Mowatt Middle School are both over crowded due to parents exercising school choice options.
Is a school's good reputation necessarily a predictor of your child's success in a school? I've found that reputations are often based on rumors and anecdotes, that miss giving the big picture.
