I have had three children in High School in Orlando and they have done wonderful even though their school is not listed as one of the best. One graduated and went on to become a college graduate, one just graduated from both the Medical program (she earned a nursing assistant III certificate) and participated in the sports medicine training program for all of her 4 years and now has started college to get prepared to enter med school. My third one has just been transferred to two honors class. HS can be very difficult no matter what and where you go, just make sure you are involved and always support your child in whatever they are doing. I always tell my girls that what they decide with their lives today will determine their tomorrow.
hope this helps
