My daughter is only in kindergarten, so i don't think i know to much, but for me i went to the school website and researched each school and viewed the stats/ratios/locations. For the private schools i called and asked questions as well as compared prices. The public school website offers alot of good information. If a parent is interested in out of zone, or school choice you must do an application in december and january. It also gives you a list of what you will need to take w/ you to register your child at your childs school when you go. My childs school had to copy the deed to our house, had i not looked online i would have not known that and would have had to make 2 trips to enroll her, instead i came prepared. and also the kg's this yr had to have 2 chicken pox vac. I did not know that either.
