My daughter is almost 20 now but she attended Johnson Jr. Middle School, in Melbourne. She was in the STAR program and I thought it was excellent. It was very challenging and there is a lot of parent volunteer opportunities....so you can see for yourself whats going on at the school.

Calvary Chapel Christian School has great programs in grade K-8. Their middle school, which I am going to qualify as grades 5-8 is awesome. This age group is on the 3rd floor of the building, where they have lockers and change classes. The teachers all love being there and love their jobs and it shows! Academically, they have a strong curriculum that will have them well prepared for High School. Class sizes are small which allows the teachers to really work with the students on organizational and study skills, in addition to their academics. Students take a Bible class and attend chapel weekly. This really helps to grow them spiritually. Electives such as praise band, art, music, drama, computers, photo opps, and Spanish are offered.
