Talk about your experiences as parent of a high schooler in Kissimmee. What's good and what's not so good?

My daughter attends Liberty High School in Poinciana and I am extremely pleased with the school considering it is a new school. I took the tour when the school first opened and I was very impressed and pleased that my daughter would have so many opportunities. So far my daughter has had some great teachers and has done very well academically. The Guidance department (especially Ms Schumacher) is very supportive and along with some teachers encourages the recognition of the students that do well. I hope Principal Studly and his team of teachers continue to lead Liberty H.S. into the path of success so that they may become an "A" high school in Poinciana. Parents also need to begin or continue to take an active role in their child's education especially if they want to see their child go on to college and be a successful member of society. Way to go Liberty High School--you are a beautiful school!!!
