Very sorry to say I can no longer recommend Jupiter Academy. With the hire of the new Principal the school has changed drastically and NOT for the better. The Principal views her staff of teachers as a sorority and hires or terminates based on that criteria. No longer is the children's education and academics a priority. If your child has special needs then this school would offer the best program. If not, than run in the other direction!!
Jupiter Academy hands down!!! I could write all day and still not praise this school, its teachers and administration enough. Every penny you spend for a private school experience for elementary will be money very well spent. Your 'pay off' will be immeasurable. Your child will be made to feel like the center of the Universe (as they should at very young ages) but will also learn so very much about values/virtues and socializing in acceptable ways. For early education you cannot beat 10-15 kids to a classroom. Waiting 5 minutes in the pick-up lane isn't bad either!!! Honestly, you couldn't find a better well rounded experience for your child than J.A. My daughter absolutely loved it and thrived there! In previous years they were able to accomodate very well for a 'high level' learner. Now, if your child has 'special needs' its also an excellant choice.
