At my daughter school did you hear about the Delta House Administation women got caught stealing the money.the news broadcasted it all over tv.the students are saying she was the one that was telling all the kids not to steal and fight and be good.this is so sad because she was my daughter House Administrader.
I've learned that one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch if you get it out early.nice set up $$$$$.I keep saying you can't put everybody over money.

If your kids are smart and willing to work HARD (tons of homework!), Stanton is a great option. It's cool to be smart and involved at this school! Plus, it's a small school (about half the size of Mandarin!) so the kids really get the chance to know each other as well as their teachers.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I must say...the middle schools and high schools in Jacksonville are the ONE AND ONLY reason I sold my house and moved to Clay County!
Unless your fortunate enough to get selected for one of the good magnet schools (Paxon, Stanton for HS), you will end up with sub-standard education in Jacksonville. In my opinion, it's awful. Just look at the grade for all the other high schools. My child was a straight A student, but was not "lucky" enough to get a low lottery number for the Paxon or Stanton High schools. I say "lucky" because that's exactly what it was. We applied to the feeder schools every year and didn't get in! We applied to the high schools and didn't get in. We didn't have the feeder priority, military priority, sibling priority or race priority and therefore we didn't get in to any of the "good" magnet school in Duval. So, we moved to Clay and we're very happy!

Did a little research for you. Looks like you can find Florida statewide school rankings (A to F) for all schools at:
