Share your experiences about a great middle school in Jacksonville. What makes it great?

My son attended James Weldon Johnson Middle, and I hope to send my daughter there as well. It's an academic magnet middle school and was a great place for my son. He had great teachers and was involved in all kinds of events - there's a place for everyone. And because it's an academic magnet, it really caters to smart, hard-working kids. It's cool to be smart there!! The most peer pressure he ran into in three years was to choose IB at Stanton in high school -- in other words -- to work even harder! :)

i know for a fact that the lady that said the school can not do anything off school grounds is corrcet thats what they told me when my kids fought back with the kids that were bulling my kids my kids were almost taking to jail because i wanted to press charges on the kids that were doing the bulling never mind that my kids were the ones sporting the the marks on them and the other kids did not have a mark on them at all but mine were the ones they wanted to take to jail because they had had enough of these kids bulling them

if your in the jacksonville,fl area there are no good middle schools.Go orange park for your middle schools
