adding onto the last answer - take all those documents to the school, request registration paperwork, fill it out and then give it to someone there at the office. We have 4 elementary schools here - so it will be determined by where you live or are moving to. If you just bought a house or just started renting, you will need the purchase agreement paperwork or the rental agreement.
School starts August 24th - so hope this helps you!
Public school is pretty simple. You need to live in the area first of all. Then you need to provide proof that you live within the boundary (a utility bill will do.) You need to have the child's birth certificate, the shot record (yellow) and the physical form (blue). Then Voila! the child is enrolled. Also, you may need to fill out forms for before or after care which you must pay for per month. Call the school first because they may or may not have room, in that case, you will have to find a center or someone you can watch the child.
