I think that there are some great teachers at Staples H.S. Both my sons (C'2008 and C'2009) and now my daughter (C'2013) have/had teachers that made a positive impact in their learning experience. The school has teachers that really care and are knowledgeable. What I don't like about the school is that the average student gets lost a bit because there is so much competition. It is hard to get a part in the musical, it is hard to get on the varsity team and it is hard to stand out academically. If you are not a very strong student it is easy to get overlooked. My sons feel college is less competitive than Staples High School and they both go to excellent colleges.
