I had no choice but to send my daughter to Mountain Laurrel School. It worked out for us, but to get a CT diploma to send to colleges (transcripts etc) she had to go to adult ed at the same time. NBHS has some good programs, but they are hard to use. Mostly because the staff is indifferent to families. My kid was being bullied or something and refused to go. The guidance staff refused even the simplist request from her, me, the doctor treating her, her therapist, and I got fed up and spent the extra money. I reassure myself with private school blogs on-line, but haven't had a stich of new clothes in four years.
