Parent Answers to "What preschool do you think is great in Thornton? Why?"

I absolutely loved the city program (Carpenter Recreation Center and Thornton Recereation Center) found at www.cityofthornton. net. Their prices are completely unbeatable and the staff did a great job. My daughter started Kindergarten this year far ahead of the other students, qualified for gifted programs, and 2 months in, is reading sentences and starting to write words on her own. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. They also offer other programs, like cooking or crafts, separated by age groups, that are also inexpensive. My daughter (and I) developed several long-term really nice friends through our 3 years in the city's preschool program.
