Berreyessa school district is a good one for elementary and middle school. If you go by API scores in Academics then it is Cupertino school district.
But for all the facilities, extra curricular and others I think BUSD is very good. The school had so much room for improvement and so thriving to get in in par with cupertino.
Again really depends on the kid how well he could adopt.

I am a 6th grader in the San Jose unified school district in Castillero Middle! It is one of the many schools in that district that is a great school and above a verage in academic scores. A lot of schoools in this district do not have the best reputation though. If you are loooking for an elementary school I would say Williams, Graystone, Simonds, or Los Alamitos. If you are looking for a middle school I would say Bret Harte or Castillero. And if you ar elooking for a high school I would say Leland.

Moreland Schools!!! If you want your child to be well-rounded, this is a great school district with most schools considered "distinguished" in the state.

This is rather old question, but...

I think it depends on your and your child's needs. Do you want strong academics, more well rounded or ???

I think Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Palo Alto and certain schools in San Jose Unified and Cambrian school districts. All these have positives, and minuses; Again, you need to check each school as they can differ within a district.
