We just left Pachappa Elementary and we were sad to go.The teachers are great, the test scores / education is great. But what we liked most of all is the support the teachers/ school nurse / office faculty give. They become like family . They take the initative to make life easier for you and your child when there is a problem. My daughter came down with a reacurring health issue and the school nurse was wonderful. The nurse before HER was wonderful. I never had to worry leaving her there. They go on great field trips, and have lots of neat things, like Lunch On the Lawn , where parents can eat lunch with their child once a month, Santas workshop , where everyone learns how to make a gift for christmas ( after hours while having a christmas snack) , The School spirit Store on Friday mornings before school ( kids can buy school supplies for anywhere from 25 cents to $3-4 which goes right back into the school). The list just goes on and on. Parents are very involved and encouraged to be involved. We are sad to have to leave.
