The Children's Discovery Center is absolutely fabulous. They truly care about the whole child and work tirelessly on the social, emotional and academic readiness of the child. I love their program and wish they had a Kindergarten class.
My daughter attened First Baptist located on Central/Alesandro. I liked it because they focus on social development and have great parent involvment programs as well.
My 23 year old and my 13 year old both attended Temple Beth El Child Development Center. It is a non sectarain school that my children went to from age 3 until they completed kindergarten although children do start younger than 3. When my son went it was a wonderful Nursery School that ran from 9am-12pm. It has since become a place where there is programming from early morning until evening making it fit into a working parent's lifestyle as well. I served on the board for 3 years there. The staff is great and parents are given opportunities to attend various events that the children participate in on site. We were basically there on and off for over 10 years and it has remained a wonderful place for all children.
