Marshall Fundamental School, with grades 6 through 12, is not a stand-alone middle school, yet many parents choose it for middle school. What makes it great is first, the leadership over the past five years, and second, the parents and students themselves. It is a school which had been beset by many serious problems but which has been transformed starting about five years ago. There is a synergy among a committed administrative staff, a core of dedicated teachers, involved parents, and the superior raw material of students with the right attitude.
