Hi I heard Hughes is a goood school,Bancroft is a good middle school as well

We moved to the LBUSD from a high performing charter school on the westside of Los Angeles. LBUSD has exceeded our expectations. The teachers at
Madison (LBUSD in Lakewood) are exceptional (good balance of caring and competent.)
Obama has cited LBUSD as a model district!
I am curious about which middle schools are recommended by parents. Any Hughes parents?

Within the LBUSD, look at particular schools, for they vary widely. Aside from reviews on greatschools, this link is helpful:

Also, talk to parents! The schools I hear of most often are Newcomb, Tinscher, Prisk, Cubberly and Longfellow. Good luck!
