Our middle school is part of our K-8 school, which provides the kids with opportunities for personal growth not otherwise available. 7th and 8th graders have 'little buddies' in the 1st grade and kindergarten, respectively, and bond with the younger kids while learning responsible role-modeling in ways they generally don't with their own younger siblings. The curriculum challenges them, especially in 8th grade, while expecting service (requiring 10 hours per year). We also love the smaller environment and close attention each child receives. The fact that all three of my kids have been in the same school for 5 years hasn't hurt, either. We love All Hallows Academy.
