Farfield is a superb school. Its out in the country. When my child was there, she did gardening and other outside projects. Its a K-3 school, 150 or so years old. Only two classrooms, 60 students. I personally think that the small environment was good for the children. Also, parent participation is huge. Parents were encouraged, and possibly required to, do a certain number of hours of parent help. Lunch duty, class helper, but youre involved. They also have a big field that my daughter loved to play in. And they have class plays some times, and school events that are fun for kids and parents both. The kindergarten/first grade teacher, Mrs. Neu, was just the sweetest lady. My daughter loved her. And shes been there for quite a time. They do art, and the children themselves are extremely smart. My daughter is actually very smart, but while she attended Fairfield, she actually felt just average because of her surrounding classmates. So there will definetely be no distractions or chance of slacking off. Learning is made fun at fairfield. And in kindergarten, parents are also involved with homework, which I liked.
Well, I probably went a bit too into detail. :) I just admire this school very much. I loved the families, and my daughter is still good friends with some of her fellow alumnis from Fairfield, even though they no longer attend the same school.
I hope I could help!
