If you want to be a part of a parent assist class, I can't say enough about the Laurel Center. It's a part of the Hayward Adult School, but in Castro Valley on Vergil (behind Trader Jo's). It is a wonderful program that teaches one parenting skills while also teaching the child. Age ranges run from newborn to Kindergarten readiness.
If staying with your child is not an option, and you appreciate learning through play, I reccomend Growing years on Anita. The teachers are experienced professionals with who will sit on the floor to read. Creativity is everywhere, children are encouraged to dance, sing, & play with oneanother. The teachers work with the children on conflict management, sharing, respect and many other social aspects. Educationally, all preK topics are taught through play. According to my daughter " They let me play, sing, make up words, and plant flowers; it's good."

I don't know preschools. I'm a grandmother helping my daughter to find quality preschool/daycare for my three-year old grandson. We live in Castro Valley. Can you help me with this?
