Carson is split with some neighborhoods zoned for Compton Unified and the rest for LAUSD. This has been a challenge for my husband and I. We love where we live. It's a working middle class community that is very diversed, but the school district sucks. Nothing against Compton, but they do not offer a safe learning environment or an accelerated curriculum. My son is highly gifted and it's very difficult to find the right school for him. We are struggling right now with what middle he will attend next school year. Any suggestions would be helpful.
