We have a wonderful school here at Magnolia. Our new principal and existing teachers have made great strides in improving the quality of your child's education. Millions have been spent on a campuswide rennovation project that gave the school the upgrades it needed.
Please verify with the district on what I believe to be the current policy. To automatically qualify for enrollment to a Carlsbad school one must prove residency, typically with a utility bill in your name. Your child will be enrolled in an elementary or middle school based on geographical boarders. One can apply for an intradistrict transfer to another elementary or middle school. As long as they are not impacted they will accomodate the request. That request will be reviewed and approved on an annual basis. Currently, it is my understanding that the district is not accepting interdistrict transfers. Please check with the District to verify this. Hope this answers your questions.
