Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Bakersfield? What makes it great?"

Hmm, this may be a biased answer because my children attended the elementary school Voorhies. The reason why I think it is great is becuase it is the only elementary school in Bakersfield that offers a program called Dual Immersion. In which students learn to speak English and Spanish fluently. It has been very helpful to my children especially when they attended highschool and have to complete the minimum requirement of 2 years of a foreign language, so they don't struggle with the language and its basically an easy A+ compared to most students.
It is also a very neat (somewhat embarassing) experience when you learn from your own children when they are so young.
