What school districts have the best reputation in or around Bakersfield?

In my personal opinion I strongly believe that Fruitvale School District is one of the best in the state of California. My son is now in the 5th grade. When he was in the 2nd grade he was unable to read at a kindergaden reading level. I was determined that there had to be a teacher out there that cared enough to not keep passing him on to the next grade without knowing to read. I did a little research and found out that Fruitvale has a great reading program with great results and test scores. I took a chance and moved all of my children to a new school. I am pleased to say that in 18 months my son is now reading at grade level and can do all of his school work on his own. I feel truely blessed to have had the chance to meet such empiring teachers and administators. I believe that Fruitvale School District has great sucess rate because it has what it takes from top to bottom. It starts with Dr. Carl Olsen and continues into principals and teachers, everyone works together to get the job done no matter how much time it takes. Our staff sticks it out until the end.
