When we were looking for a preschool we looked at all of the usual things, hours, teachers, and lessons taught. When we took a tour of the school we noticed that the preschool interacts with the eighth grade students on a regular basis. Each preschooler is assigned a "buddy". The preschool does regular activities with their "buddies". I thought that this created such a great family environment. It is truly overwhelming to see such caring eighth graders as they work with their buddy patiently and with so much love.
