Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Preschool. Beautiful environment, appropriate level of learning with fun activities for the preschool age child.

My wife interviewed at least 10 schools in N. Scottsdale, N. Phoenix, and Cave Creek and she really liked Pinnacle Presbyterian. I have to admit I like it too, it's by far the nicest I've ever seen, and my son has loved it so far.

Summit School of Ahwatukee (www.summitschoolaz.org) is exceptional! It is the most nurturing and enriching preschool in the area. Summit provides private outdoor patios for each class, an echo friendly playground and educated & experienced teachers. The learning experience includes literacy, number sense, friendship, art, music, Spanish and computing.

Lilly of the Valley Montessori based preschool is wonderful. Located in arcadia area and only accepting ten children. This school has great references and we love the one on one attention our son receives. This school is not only a confidence builder but allows my child to show his creative side as well.602.373.2677

Shadow Rock Preschool got my vote after previewing and interviewing 5 other schools in the area. I was amazed at how welcomed I was made to feel by the other moms and when I saw first hand the interaction between the kids and the teachers I was sold. I saw a true happiness and peacefulness here immediately that the other schools, although they were very nice, just lacked. Shadow Rock Preschool is a diamond in the rough. My son has been there for 2 years now and I wouldn't change a thing! They also have a 2-yr-old program that is astounding. Be sure to visit this school before you make a choice on your child's future!

DO NOT use Hidden Hills my daughter was 3 years old and had over 18 bruises left on her upper body and the pre-K teacher did this and I called the police and fire they took tons of photos. Scary thing is that the teacher have insurance that protects them when they do this and the law says they have to be reported 3 times to loose their teacher licience.. REPORT everything to the State Board of Ed if your children get miss treated.. save your children.

Bambini Language School. My daughter has been going there ever since it opened last fall. She is learning Mandarin and Spanish and they will be having a French tutor comming in as well for interested parents. The teachers are wonderful and the children are learning so much. My daughter loves to go to school. The class sizes are small so that no child is ever left behind. There are classes for infants through Kindergarten with a charter school starting in 2010.
