Abraham Lincoln Traditional School. It is K-8.It has a 10 on the greatschools rating. It has been an excelling school for about 6 or 7 years now. My daughters, who are both in Jr. High go there and they absolutely love it. It is a very small school. It only has about 600 kids, and everyone knows everyone. It has a very friendly feeling, and the teachers are great. We just got a new principal at the start of the school year. She is a lot more friendly, and involved in school activities than the last pricipal was. You should definately at least check it out. It is located on 39th and Peoria, in Phoenix.
Summit School of Ahwatukee (www.summitschoolaz.org) is a great middle school. It addresses the needs of the whole student and provides a dynamic, academically challenging, rigorous and developmentally appropriate private school educational experience for young adolescents.
