Huntsville City Schools are very rigid on transfers. A kid may transfer to another school if he doesn't increase the majority race at that destination school.
"May" be able to transfer. The number of transfer requests is growing and all cannot be accommodated. All the public schools "teach to the test".

If you aren't happy w/ your school district, you may be able to transfer to a different school by way of a racial transfer or if the school your child is to attend hasn't met their AYP (Annual Yearly Progress).
