Moving from IL~ Psyched out a bit... Any recommendations on Middle & High Schools? How about Heritage schools?

swede16tc
My daughter will be going into the 7th grade. I'm a single mom and would really like a school with good structure and support. She needs more discipline and structure than I am able to give sometimes, due to having to work and going to school myself! Please help!!!

Thank you for your response :)
I did do a few searches... looking into the Deltona region, or Palm Coast. I am concerned about after school care, for sure. My primary concern is just a good school over all. If anyone has any info on the heritage school, smaller classrooms, uniforms, etc... or any school that has a really good structure and support system for academics (and athletics) that would be awesome!!! :)

Hi. It seems like your questions are more about after-school child-care programs, than about the actual school academics, so I'm not sure if Greatschools "Find a School" feature will be able to help you... You can try clicking on the green menu bar near the top of this page, and enter your location and grade level, then see a list of all schools in a given area. Public ones are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (high) based on how their students performed on recent statewide testing, but you can also read parent comments that have been made about each school.
