My daughter will be starting HS next summer and I'm looking around for a good one with a good atmosphere , does anyone have some suggestions?

Hi. I'm not from CA, but have you tried using the "find a school" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You can enter a location and grade level, and see a list of all schools in a given area. Public ones are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (high) based on how their students performed on recent statewide testing. You can also click on individual school names to see more details, and read parent comments about the schools, if any have been made.
