Is there a web site to compare curriculum from state to state?

choctawliz
We are moving in the middle of our son's 8th grade year from Pennsylvania to Orange County in California. Our son is worried about the difference in the curriculum since it will be in the middle of the year. Can anyone help?

Hi. I'm not from CA, but most states have a Board of Education website where you can look up curriculum requirements for different grade levels. District to district, there are likely to be variations in what texts are used in the classrooms, even to meet the state curriculum goals.

Thank you so much! This will help relieve some of the apprehension of moving to a new school.
