Moving to Northern Virginia from Socal in summer, need advice on high schhools

Daughter has been in parochial school from K-8th. Looking for public high schools in northern VA (or parochial) - need to know about academics, moral character, local cultural idiosyncrasie and transportation - currently live in an affluent but arrogant area where showcasing is more important than values and while academics are good kids dress like they are headed to freakshows - hence the parochial school; trying to find a public school where morals, academics and character are (understanding nothing is a utopia) considered important and decorum / respect the norm, where drug use in not tolerated and the staff uses common sense. Any advise?
