If you have not already enrolled somewhere, I will throw my opinion into the ring. My daughter goes to preschool near La Salle II, at Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy. This is our second year of preschool here. We love this school and chose to go there. It is not our neighborhood school. The test scores have improved drastically over the last 5 years due to the hard work and involvement of parents, teachers and administrators and will very soon be extremely competitive with other top ranked elementary schools nearby (ie, Alcott, Franklin, Ogden, Hawthorne). Dual Language (Spanish) is offered pre-k through 8 and we have openings NOW for the pre-k Dual Language! Come check it out: 1840 W. Ohio St. Chicago, Il 60622, (773) 534-7130

My child attends this school. This is a new school so there was not much to base it on. But I'm happy with the interest and care the preschool teachers provide to the students. I am happy with the school. There is great parent involvement in making this school a great one.

Hi. Unfortunately, Chicago is a HUGE area, and even though I'm in the area (NW suburbs now, but I grew up on the south side) I've never heard of LaSalleII....Did you try clicking on the "Find a School" or "Preschool" tabs on the green menu bar at the top of this page? Unfortunately, the chance of finding someone online who has a child of similar age and with recent experience at any school is slim, but if parents have left prior comments about the school, you'll be able to see and read them.
