First of all, the keyboards were won through the VH1 Save the Music Grant. They were not donated by the PTA. Secondly, the school is planning on utilizing every single keyboard in the Piano Lab with our own Music Teacher. They are not for sale.

Did the PTA donate the keyboards to the school, and the school paid the salary of the music teacher? If so, the school probably owns the keyboards and you'd need to get someone from the administration, like the principal, to approve their disposition.
If the PTA bought the keyboards and hired the music instructor for an after-school enrichment program or something similar, then the PTA probably would be able to dispose of them (sell, donate, whatever) without needing formal school administration approval.
