Hi. I'm not from NM, but I have a son with ADHD. What grade is your child in? Is your child attending a public school, or are you also open to private schools? Does your child have an IEP? How are you treating his/her ADHD? Is it the inattentive kind, hyperactive kind, or combined type? Unfortunately, there is no "one school" that can usually address all aspects of a child's needs. In general, schools that have smaller class sizes and offer lots of "hands-on" learning opportunities are better than large schools where teachers lecture all the time...Whether a child has a good or bad experience depends almost more on individual teachers than on which school they're attending.
I would recommend that you contact a local representative of www.chadd.org, and network through those families to find out about the best schools and other resources in your community. For general support, you might also like to join Greatschool's Learning and Attention Difficulties Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554
