I have an 18 month old son who is extremely active. now that summer is coming to an end i'm looking for fun things to keep him entertained. At this age I feel like he could really benefit from peer interaction. The local preschools I have researched don’t admit until 2.9 or three. You might try something like Little Gym, which which offers parent/child classes. Your son would be exposed to a variety of activites and other kids. Be aware, at 18 months most children play next to one another rather than with one another. That comes a little later.
