Is there diversity at Libertyville schools? Will my child , as a racial minority, feel left out? Thank you

The quality of schools in Libertyville appear to be excellent, only hesitation for me might be above. We are considering relocating from California, very diverse place. Any input would be appreciated, thank you

As a parent of minority children in Libertyville schools I am happy to say that we have never experienced a problem. In the beginning I did worry that my children may face racial bias amongst their peers and I have questioned them several times and I have never heard a complaint or even been given the feeling that it could be happening.

Although we have never faced any racially biased issues within the school I have seen some other concerns when it comes to students with learning challenges. Beyond that we have had a pretty good experience so far.

Hi. I don't live in Libertyville, but my husband works there. I have not heard of any particular difficulties with minority students in the area, although I admit that I don't have any children in their schools. We don't hear of any particular problems on the news regarding racial tensions. Libertyville may not be as diverse a community as you are used to, but it seems like a decent place to live.
